A challenge without a profile.

Social Mechanics Challenge does not create user accounts, automatically upload recordings, store challenge attempts, or collect payment details. The current version does not use application-level analytics or advertising cookies.

What stays on your device

Concept selection and timer state exist only for the active page session. Prompt cards are generated in your browser and are not sent to our servers by the application.

Optional camera recording

Record Mode asks for camera and microphone permission only after you choose to enable it. Granting permission opens a local preview; recording begins only after you start the challenge and the preparation countdown finishes.

Video is assembled in your browser and kept in temporary memory. The application does not automatically upload it. You decide whether to download it, share it through your device, retake it, or discard it. Leaving or refreshing the page may discard an unsaved recording. Camera and microphone streams are stopped after each take and when Record Mode closes.

Optional transcript feedback

Feedback is processed only after you click Analyze my attempt. That action sends a compact audio copy of the selected take, the selected concept identifier, and basic attempt information to our server. The server sends the audio to an AI transcription service, then sends the resulting transcript and our curated concept reference to an AI evaluation service.

The application does not place the recording, transcript, or feedback in an account or application database. Processing is transient, and only the two analyzed feedback results are kept in this tab for the current retry session. Closing or refreshing the page clears that in-memory session. Our hosting and AI service providers may process request data under their service terms and the retention settings of the configured provider account.

If you do not click Analyze my attempt, the application does not send your recording for transcription or evaluation. A failed or canceled analysis does not delete your local video.

Hosting

Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical request logs, such as IP address, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the site.

This policy describes the current local-first recording and optional, user-initiated transcript-feedback flow. It should be reviewed if accounts, analytics, persistent storage, or other data features are introduced.
